YEAR-END WEBINARS ARE BACK

Year End is approaching and we are offering a FREE Sage 100 webinar on Tuesday, December 17th. In this webinar, we will address processing Accounts Payable 1099 Printing and the changes in the 1099 Vendor information this year.  We’ll also describe which 1099 form you should be using and do a demo of the process for printing those forms.

As always, we can process both your W-2s and 1099 Forms for you if you don’t want to process your own forms, and we simply bill you hourly to do so.  The service includes sending “test prints” for you to confirm numbers before the filing is done, as well as delivering final forms to the government and a final copy to you.  If you are interested in this service please contact Carina Sims in our office (carina@benpor.com) and she can send you authorization forms for us to help you with those pesky little year end forms.

Here come the holidays! And what do employees tend to do during the holidays? They take extra time off from work. Whether that time comes in the form of actual holiday days themselves, floating holidays, or employees just trying to use time off hours that they’ll otherwise lose, the end of the year is always a busy time for timecards. What is your company’s system for tracking days off and managing adjustments to all of those time-off banks. If you don’t have one – or if the one you do have is eating up all your time – consider the advantages of automating time off accruals and usage with an HCM system like People Savvy HCM.

IT NEEDS DURING BUDGET PLANNING SEASON!

With budget planning season on-going for many organizations, the Bennett/Porter Managed IT Team wants to remind our clients to keep in mind the upcoming Windows 10 End of Life when plotting out their IT and technology budgets for the coming year! Many organizations will likely need to replace a large number of workstations and laptops due to the stringent hardware requirements for Windows 11, which could leave them choosing between blowing up their budget in October or leaving their company exposed to risk.
