Sage MAS 90 Direct Deposit module, by Kissinger, and MAS 90 paperless office reduces the time and cost associated with the typical payroll processing by eliminating the need to print checks or direct deposit stubs. Direct Deposit allows you to provide your employees the convenience of not having to travel to their financial institution to deposit their pay, the choice of disbursements between multiple accounts, such as savings and checking, and based on fixed dollar amounts or percentages. And as mentioned earlier the MAS 90 Paperless Office will automatically securely e-mail the direct deposit stub to the employee eliminating the need to print any paper documents. Oh, and in case your employee looses or cannot find their Direct Deposit stub you can bring it back up and e-mail or print it for them or else they can do it themselves!
The simple, easy-to-use Electronic Reporting module for Sage MAS 90 and 200 is designed to assist you in complying with the Internal Revenue Service Regulations requirement procedures for submitting year-end W-2 and 1099 information.
Use Department Maintenance to organize your Payroll system by department, branch, division, store location, or profit center. Up to 1,296 departments can be established. Each department can maintain its own payroll account numbers for purposes of reporting and posting to the general ledger. Payroll can be entered by department allowing you to track employee earnings by department worked.
Use Department Security to add an additional level of security to the Payroll module on a department-by-department basis. You can authorize a list of users or groups to access a department.
The eFiling system transfers federal, state, and local forms electronically to the appropriate federal, state, or local agencies by an approved method, saving you time and simplifying the payroll process.
Track earnings and appropriate taxes from multiple state and local tax jurisdictions on the same check, and withhold unemployment deductions from a state other than the one in which an employee resides. Sage MAS 90 will also print or electronically report each state and local tax on the W2 filing at the end of the year.
Deductions for 401(k) pensions and cafeteria plans can be setup to be automatic or manually entered during check processing. The determination of withholding taxes affected by the deduction code can be defined differently for each deduction code. Non-monetary compensation (fringe benefits) can be recorded and printed on W-2 forms.
You can define Paperless Office options for direct deposit stubs for each employee, including whether to e-mail stubs in PDF format to the employee. Don’t worry the PDF file is protected by 128bit encryption and also password protected.
